Solid Stator Integral Frameless Torque Motors
We make this frameless torque motor with one-piece laminated silicon steel and full-ring winding. Mass production is well-developed to keep unit cost low and bulk orders delivered steadily. The integral ring balances three-phase electromagnetism naturally, so cogging torque is easy to tune, and the winding stands vibration and dampness well. The downside is installation only from shaft ends, no cooling gaps, which brings higher temperature rise under continuous full load. Small size tweaks need brand-new full molds, pushing up prototype cost and lead time.

Segmented Modular Frameless Torque Motors
This segmented modular frameless torque motor uses separate fan-shaped iron cores. Each core gets wound alone before assembly, with gaps left between segments for heat dissipation. You can fit this motor sideways into tight spaces, saving over 30% assembly time for cobot and exoskeleton housings. Those gaps cut running temperature by 10–15℃ under full continuous load, and split cores lighten the motor by 8%–12%. It runs more smoothly at low speed with weaker cogging torque. We only remake single core molds for minor spec changes, which halves your prototype cost.

Frameless torque motors are direct-drive, zero-backlash, hollow shaft, and integrate directly into the joint. Servo motors need reducers and have larger size. Our frameless models have higher torque density, smoother low-speed operation, and are more suitable for robot joints, gimbals and precision rotary equipment.
Cogging torque is the magnetic resistance when the motor runs without power. Lower cogging means smoother movement, less jitter, and higher positioning accuracy. Our frameless torque motors use optimized magnetic design to minimize cogging, making them ideal for gimbals, medical devices and precision force control robots.
The hollow shaft allows cables, sensors and pipes to pass through the center, simplifying wiring and saving space. It makes the structure more compact and beautiful, especially for humanoid robots, cobots and exoskeletons. Our frameless motors support customizable inner diameter to match your structure.
Torque motors provide high continuous torque at low speed without reducer. Ordinary BLDC needs high speed and reduction gear. Our frameless torque motors feature high torque density, low noise, and stable output, widely used in precision control fields like robotics, semiconductors and gimbals.
Yes, we fully support customization for frameless torque motors. We can adjust winding parameters, stack length, voltage, rated speed and continuous torque. For segmented motors, we can modify single module without full mold change, shortening development cycle and lowering prototype cost.
Continuous torque is stable long-term output without overheating. Peak torque is short-time maximum for acceleration and impact. Our motors have high peak/rated ratio, ideal for dynamic robot joint movements.
Yes. Direct-drive frameless torque motors achieve zero backlash and high precision at low speed, replacing traditional servo with reducer. It simplifies structure, improves accuracy and reduces maintenance.
Pick segmented stator for narrow robot joints, side assembly and better heat dissipation. Choose solid stator for low-cost mass production, semiconductor rotary tables and high electromagnetic balance demand.
Our frameless kits fully support EtherCAT, CANopen, PROFINET, matching Beckhoff, Kollmorgen, Inovance, Panasonic and Kinco servo drives. Complete drive matching parameters are provided free of charge.
