Dual Speed Control | IE5 Motor
Our IE5 brushless DC motors adopt standard RS485 Modbus and 0-10VDC dual control. Plug and play with most fan controllers. 0-10VDC port matches European and American HVAC systems, while Modbus supports group control for farms. We use universal protocols, no extra customization is needed.
High Grade Housing & Stator Core | IE5 Motor
Maintex IE5 brushless motor adopts a one-piece die-cast aluminum housing with no seams. The electrophoretic anti-corrosion coating defends against coastal salt spray and farm ammonia gas. High-grade low-loss cold-rolled silicon steel and lamination riveting cut eddy current loss greatly. Combined with a permanent magnet rotor, the whole unit fully meets official IE5 high efficiency standards.

IE5 EC Motor Application Solutions
Farms are humid, dusty and affected by corrosive ammonia. Most equipment is placed outdoors or semi-outdoors, where ordinary motors often fail due to water ingress. Our IE5 EC motors adopt fully sealed IP66 construction to resist moisture, dust and ammonia, and operate non-stop 24 hours a day.
IE5 energy efficiency is a legal requirement across the EU and Southeast Asia. You cannot alter existing moulds when replacing motors, and centralized group speed control is also needed. Our IE5 EC motors come in standard sizes for direct fitting with no mould adjustment. The built-in Modbus protocol fully supports group speed control.
The original mounting dimensions cannot be modified. Third-party IE5 test reports are required to apply for energy-saving subsidies. Maintex IE5 EC motors serve as a direct drop-in replacement for old IE3 fans and fit the original setup perfectly. We can provide complete official test documents.
Enclosed cabinets have limited space. The equipment needs low noise, low electromagnetic interference and copes with frequent start-stop cycles. Our IE5 EC motors produce little heat and EMC interference. The integrated drive saves installation space, making them well suited for such working conditions.
